Mildred "Billie" Parrish, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on January 15, 1922 to Jess and Mary Thompson in Pilot Mound, Iowa. Billie was married to Gerald Parrish on August 27, 1938, and had three daughters.Billie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 2 ½ years ago to live with her daughter, Jackie Parrish. She loved to bowl and was inducted into The Women's International Bowling Congress. Every Friday evening, she looked forward to going to the Moose Hall in Lake Havasu City to talk and play bingo with friends and family. Billie enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lake Havasu City, AZ; American Legion Women's Auxiliary and the V.F.V. Auxiliary in Boone, Iowa.Billie is survived by daughters, Pam Dearinger of Ankeny, Iowa and Jackie Parrish of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters Fern San Dona and Wilma Richardson both of Jefferson, Iowa, six grandchildren, two of which were raised by Billie and her husband, Dr. Jerald Phipps and Marty Phipps both of Boone, Iowa as well as 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made tin Billie's name to Hospice of Havasu for their loving care at P.O.
