Katie Elizabeth Burrage, 89, passed away June 11, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Virgil and Florence Huckabee on January 9, 1916 in Wayne, AL.Shortly after Katie moved to Lake Havasu 23 years ago from Chicago, IL, she went to work in the real estate industry. Prior to that she had worked in medical technology in Chicago for 20 years. Before her health became a problem, she participated in the Realtor's Association, winning her a prize on a Caribbean Cruise in 1989. She was active with Civitan, Woman's Aglow and attended Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. She hosted Special Olympics participants and volunteered in the grade school system.Katie leaves behind her daughter Faye Takeuchi of Vancouver, BC, Canada.A memorial service will be held Friday, June 17, 3:30 PM at Prestige Assisted Living at Smoketree. Rev.
