Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thomas, Robert M.
Born in Rochester, NY on December 23, 1946 and died in Kingman, AZ August 9, 2015, leaving siblings Mary Thomas, Petrina Thomas, Shawn Thomas, Linda Lee, and Bunny Goldsmith; nieces Karen Dunkleberg Savella and Jenny Lee; dear nephew, Tony Colucci; cat companion, Useless; and ever-loved ex-wife, Sue Thomas. His parents, Richard Thomas and Marjorie R. Lee, predeceased him. Special thanks to the friends who cared for our Bobby: John Roan, Rob and Angie Berg, Helen Davidson, Laura Miller, Curt Resling, Linda Loucks, Stu Varon, Marian Abbott, Tom Swider, and doubtless many others, for Bob cherished relationships above all material things. Bob was an avid reader, poetry writer, finder of treasure in junk, and photographer whose witty humor, forgiving nature, and unerring book recommendations will be much missed. Bob believed with A.E. Housman that "Luck's a chance, but trouble's sure," and he faced "it as a wise man would, /…[training] for ill and not for good" through his reading and friendships. His Kingman friends plan a celebration of his life in the near future. Your sparkling blue eyes are a beacon we will never forget and will hope to see again. Breathe easy now, Bob.
