Obituary of Janice SORENSEN

Janice Lorraine Sorensen, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 9, 1941 to Richard and Evelyn Gaddess in Altadena, CA. Janice attended school in California and graduated from Merced High School in 1960. She worked for the City of Merced as a bus dispatcher and driver for 20 years. Janice retired in 1996 and she and her husband Niels moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1997. Her hobbies included bowling at which she excelled, golf, and gambling. Janice was very active in Legion Ladies Auxiliary District 12, CA; and president of Legion Auxiliary, Post #81 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.Janice is survived by her loving husband Niels, sons, Tom, Timmy and Terry Bauer, daughter Stacy Silva and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Evelyn Gaddess, brothers, Gary and Bob and her sister Jeannie.A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post #81, 181 Paseo Del Sol, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403 on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.Jan loved animals and wished any donations be made in her name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86404Condolences may be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
