Marlene Alice (Bird) Williams, 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 in Henderson, NV. She was born on October 19, 1935 in East Chicago, IN, to Raymond A. and Jean Martin (McAuslan) Bird. Marlene moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ, 12 years ago from Valparaiso, IN. She was a retired elementary school teacher for Glen Oaks Elementary School in Lansing, IL. Marlene was an active member of P.E.O. and several bridge clubs.Marlene is survived by her loving husband Raymond O. Williams, Sr, who were married on December 26, 1964; sons Raymond O Williams, Jr, of Las Vegas, NV, Ronald O. Williams of Bullhead City, AZ sister Lillian (Bird) Devine of Sun City Center, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Kimberly M. Williams and Raymond O. Williams III. She was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret J. Williams.A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 3 to 5 p.m. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, 1505 U.S. Hwy 30E, Valparaiso, IN.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made be made in Marlene's name to your favorite charity.Condolences may be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
