Obituary of Joseph DOLGE

Joseph Anthony Dolge, 83, passed away on July 2, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on December 22, 1921 in Hyde Park, MA.Joe moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 29 years ago from Brockton, MA. He served proudly in the U.S. Army WWII, 328 Infantry Division. Joe was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. He loved playing scratch tickets, especially the ones from Connecticut, playing poker, traveling, opera and classical music and spending time with his family and playing the card game Uno. He also loved sitting outside next to the wood stove and cooking Italian food. His family will miss his favorite lasagna.Joe is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rita Dolge, son Albert Dolge and wife Karen of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Donna Boutot and husband Bob of Wolcutt, CT; sister Mary Hogan of Ashbey, MA; grandchildren Michelle, Michael, and Mathew Fling, Joe and Marissa Gummow, Darrell and Lacy Dolge and great grandchildren, Nicole, Robert, Julia and Joanna.He was preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Antoinette Dolge, son Henry Fling, brothers, Dominic and Albert Dolge, sisters, Marie Todesca and Rose Scorza.A celebration of his life will be held at their residence on Thursday, July 7, 2005 starting a 4:00 p.m.Donations may be made in Joe's name to the Havasu Heart Society, P.O.
