Bernice I. Hooper, 79, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 30, 1925 in Sloan, IA. Bernice moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 20 years ago from Azusa, CA. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed bowling.Bernice is survived by her son Ward A. Bakken of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Gail A. Stout of La Verne, CA; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Garden Chapel at White's Funeral Home in Azusa, CA; on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Barnett officiating.
