Frank Dominick Romano, 80, of Lake Havasu City went home to be with God on the morning of Tuesday, July 5, 2005. He was born in Utica, NY, and served in the US Navy with honors for over 26 years through WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Frank spent his retirement years in California and Ben Wheeler, TX before settling in Lake Havasu.Mr. Romano is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Jean Sevenish Romano and five children: Deane Leonard of Yuma, AZ, Frank Romano Jr. of Orange, CA, Michael Romano of Lake Havasu City, Debie Malcolm of El Centro, CA and Laurie Ortkiese of Louisville, KY; sisters, Bea Gambino, Rosemary Abraham, Milly Passante, Mary Conti and Laura Leone; brothers, Vito, Lanny and Lou. He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Jean Romano and grandson, Stuart Malcolm.Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Condolences may be submitted in Frank's memory to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
