Norma Maxine Lowe, 82, passed away July 6, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Henry and Luella (Easterwood) Sykes on November 12, 1922 in Devol, OK.Norma and her husband moved to Lake Havasu 2 ½ years ago from Moreno Valley, CA. Norma was a river rat and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, water sports and cooking.She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 61 years, W.S. Lowe Jr.; sons, Ronnie Lowe of Anaheim, CA and Wally Lowe of Lake Havasu; daughters, Vickie Haas of Lake Havasu; Melody Clark of San Clemente, CA, Terry Minton of Temecula, CA and Cindy Schleig of San Jacinto, CA; brothers, Bill Sykes of Seal Beach, CA, Al Sykes of Long Beach, CA and Bud Sykes of Hesperia, CA; sisters, Claudine Sykes and Thelma Sykes, both of Seal Beach, CA, Ima Sykes of Long Beach, CA and Vida Sykes of Huntington Beach, CA; fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by the funeral services at 12:00 PM, at God's House of Favor, 15899 Harmon, Riverside, CA 92518. Graveside services will follow, at 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.The family has requested donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, payable to Interagency Respite Care, 1940 Mesquite Ave. Suite 1, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.Condolences may be submitted in Norma's memory to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
