Obituary of Robert Eugene Kalanquin

Robert Eugene Kalanquin passed away at 86 years of age on August 11, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Frank and Mary Kalanquin on April 22, 1929 in Lapeer, MI. He was wed to Dixie Sue Crabtree on November 27, 1949 in Flint, MI; they were married for 46 years. Robert was employed at Fisher Body as an Accountant for 30 years in Flint, MI and at USPS as an Assistant Post Master for 20 years in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He enjoyed playing Bridge, Bingo, and gardening. Robert is survived by his son, Thomas E. Kalanquin of Davison, MI; daughter, Susan (Kish) Contla of Lake Havasu City; sister, Maxine Keene of Lapeer, MI; grandson, Rory Kalanquin of Davison, MI; granddaughter, Sarah Jo Lively of Omaha, NE; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; Dixie Sue Kalanquin; parents, Frank and Mary Kalanquin; Kalanquin brothers, Myron, Lawrence, Melvin, Frank; and great-grandson, Michael Andres Lively.
