Obituary of Larry VOGEL

Larry Joe Vogel, 57, passed away July 18, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 20, 1947 in Olympia, WA.Larry moved to Lake Havasu 4 years ago from Rockaway Beach, OR. He served proudly in the US Army during Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. For many years he did long haul truck driving. Larry enjoyed bowling, square dancing and since moving to Havasu, he had a special passion for motorcycles. Larry always wished that his long hair be donated to "Locks of Love".Larry is survived by his loving wife, Tissa "Tish"; sons, Robert of Portland, OR and Brandon of California; step children, Steven of Las Vegas, NV, Donald of Portland, OR, Rhonda and Kristin, both of Lake Havasu; eleven grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; best friends, Steve Gabrick and Bill McNamee and his faithful companion, dog, Ruby.He was preceded in death by his father, Bud; mother, Gertrude; brother, Rick and baby son, Trevor.Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 23, 9:00 AM at 1735 Ruby Lane, LHC. Full military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 9401 Color Guard.
