Wayne Adams, 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 30, 1938 in Fort Oglethorp, GA. Wayne moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 23 years ago from Virginia. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam. He was a Major in the U.S.M.C. for 22 years. He then worked as a police chief in Grenada, MS; for 6 years. Wayne was a member of the Lake Havasu Lions Club, Silent Witness Board Member, assistant police chief in Lake Havasu City from 1982 to 1986, FBI National Academy graduate, member of the police chief association and member of the polygraph examiners in the tri state area. He loved golfing, fishing and joking around. Wayne was an awesome dad and grandpa.Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jo Ellen Adams, daughters Tamra Darazsdi and husband Dan of Randolph, NJ; Michelle Ensminger and husband Greg of Temecula, CA; Kelly Orseno and husband Tom of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Charlene Tatum and husband Greg of South Haven, MS; brothers Randy Adams and wife Jo Ann of El Cajon, CA; Jerry Adams and wife Jan of Maryland and 12 grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Community Church on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. Military honors will be presented by the U.S. Marine Corps. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Wayne's name to Lake Havasu Lions Club for the Wayne Adams Scholarship Fund, P.O.
