Obituary of Sharlie FREEMAN

Sharlie A. Freeman, 58, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 4, 1946 in Topeka, KS.Sharlie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 13 years ago from San Dimas, CA. She was the executive director of United Way in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 12 years. Sharlie loved going to church, singing songs and having fun. She also loved traveling, golfing, hiking, nature and taking walks. Her family was her whole life. Sharlie was a very responsible person. She was a doer and she would always get things done. Sharlie is survived by her friend and husband of 33 years, Bob Freeman and son Robert Scott Freeman of Lake Havasu City, AZ.Memorial services will be held at St. Michael's Methodist Church on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Sharlie will be laid to rest in the family plot at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Sharlie Freeman Benefit account at any Mohave State Bank.Condolences may be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
