Benjamin Lawrence DeFreitas, 22, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2005 in Needles, CA. He was born on November 5, 1982 in Flagstaff, AZ.Benjamin moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 13 years ago from Flagstaff, AZ. He worked as a mason for Mohave Concrete in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 4 months. Benjamin is survived by his mother Elizabeth Sosa of Keaau, HI; brothers Robert Ramirez, Jason Rice, Weslee Rice, sisters Rachel Ramirez, Donna Croft, grandparents Darrel and Sheryl DeFreitas of Omaha, AR; great grandparents Roy and Madeline DeFreitas of Lake Havasu City, AZ; aunts Janet Scarburgh, Karen Kinzer, Denise Greebaum, Deanna Jackson, Christine DeFreitas, uncle Roy DeFreitas, cousins Jesse Fuller, Ashley Fuller, Caleb Croft, Austin and Gabriel Rice, Jeremy, Justin, Wesley Rice and Stacy Loera.A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Community Church on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 10:00 am with Pastor Mark Runyon officiating.Condolences may be made to Benjamin's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
