MARVIN "Bud" DUANE SMITH Marvin Duane Smith passed away on August 28, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 69. Bud, as he was known to family and friends, was born on January 23, 1944 in Yuma, CO to Gerald and Loverna (Bennett) Smith. Bud is retired and had been self-employed in the oil field service. He is a graduate of the School of Golf Course Management and is a member of London Bridge Golf Club and Elks B.P.O.E #2399. Bud was an avid golfer. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army National Guard. Bud is survived by his loving family, wife Coleen Smith of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Lance Wade Smith (Shari) of Indianapolis, IN; daughter Dana Grigsby (Mike) of Broomfield CO; step son Cy Thorup (Shelly) of Evanston, WY; step daughters Laura Walker (Randall) of Hamilton MT, and Wendy Baker (Kent) of Evanston, WY; brothers Leroy "Butch" Smith (Della) of Mesa, AZ and Loren Smith (Virginia) of Broomfield, CO: brother in laws Kirby Powell (Marge) of Burlington, CO, Stanley Powell (Sharon) of Burlington, CO and Lynn Powell (Maria) of Ft. Morgan, CO; 10 grandchildren and step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at the London Bridge Golf Course on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in Bud's name to Beacon of Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave. #B106, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
