Essie L. Friend, 91, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on July 30, 1914 in Coeur D Alene, ID.Essie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in December of 2002, from Vacaville, CA. She worked as a cosmetologist for 25 years and was a member of the Moose Lodge.Essie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, George M. Friend, step-sons Bruce Friend of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Larry Friend of The Dalles, OR; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
