Obituary of Ulonda JENKINS

Ulonda "Lonnie" Mae Jenkins, 73, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2005. She was a 19 year resident of Arizona. Wanting to be closer to their son and his family, Lonnie and her husband Quinn moved to Lake Havasu City 11 years ago from Bullhead City. Prior to moving to Lake Havasu, Lonnie and Quinn lived in Carson, CA where she was employed by the Los Angeles Unified School District as an office clerk for seventeen years.Lonnie is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 55 years, Quinn Jenkins; son, Randy (Colleen) Jenkins of Lake Havasu; daughter, Ginger (Jim) Fey and three wonderful grandchildren, Tim (Tina) Fey, Matt Jenkins and Melissa (Barry) Carls, all of Lake Havasu. She is also survived by her brothers, Andy Horton (June Pounder) and Ralph Horton; sister-in-law, Doris Weiss, brother-in-law, Gene (Sue) Jenkins and many nieces and nephews, including but not limited to Danny, Cindy (Mike), Terry (Tom), Mike (Jeri), Bobby, Valerie, Scott, Stacey, Kristen, Lynn, Sandy (Dave), Norma (Jim), Nicole, TJ, Patrick, Eric, Kelly, Teri, Traci and numerous friends.Lonnie loved her family dearly. She had a genuine zest for life and infectious smile that she enjoyed sharing with everyone she met. Lonnie enjoyed playing on her new computer, shopping and making trips to Laughlin. She was a loving, wonderful person who will be deeply missed by those who were lucky to have known her.A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
