Sylvia Jean Liska, 63, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2005 in Tempe, Arizona. She was born April 21, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to Adrian and Catherine Legault.Sylvia and her family moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1972. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Pharmacy Technician, co-owner of The Apothecary Shop and a board member of Telesis School.She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John: son Tony Liska of Chandler, Arizona; daughter Gretchen (Tim) Moran of Mohave Valley, Arizona and five grandchildren Taryn, Bailee and Tatum Liska and Adrian and Reed Moran. She also leaves her two miniature dachshunds.Her family said that Sylvia would be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends. "She was truly a wonder to all who knew and loved her," they said.She was preceded in death by her parents.A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday October 1, 2005 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1605 S. McCulloch, with child-care available.In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her honor to Hospice of Havasu or Western Arizona Humane Society of Lake Havasu City.Condolences can be sent to Sylvia's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
