James Louis "Jim" Stach, 85, passed away on October 1, 2005. He was born on September 19, 1920 to Louis and Mary (Bauer) Stach in Chicago, IL.Jim proudly served in the US Marine Corp, 3rd Marine Air Wing for 4 years during World War II. After being discharged from the Marine Corp he went to work for People's Gas Light and Coke in Chicago as a technician for 23 years. He made Lake Havasu his home 14 years ago. Jim was a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Elks Lodge and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene and recently celebrated 65 years together on July 11th. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Valerie White of St. Louis, MO and Crystal Stach of Corona, CA, eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Jim was preceded in death by his two sons, Jerrold and Carl Stach and one sister, Sylvia Schulz.Jim left this earth with the same dignity and caring that he showed during his lifetime.
