Warren Henry Winn passed away on October 21, 2005 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 84. Winn, as he was known to his friends, was born on April 29, 1921 in Elroy, WI to Albert and Gertrude Winn.Following high school, Winn Joined the Army Air Corps serving in World War II as a pilot of a P-47 flying in the Pacific. After the war, Winn settled back in Elroy and started a jewelry and watch repair business. He was the only jeweler in Elroy for over 40 years. Many of Elroy's citizens continued to knock on his door after retirement to repair their watches. Winn retired to Lake Havasu City in 1993.He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Maxine Winn of Lake Havasu City; son, James Perry of Juneau, AK; step-daughter, Debra Schwartz of Lake Havasu City; brother, Wayne Winn of Phoenix, AZ and three grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 11:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Rev. Richard Rounds will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9401 and the American Legion Post #81.Condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
