Clara "Betty" Elizabeth Scott, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on February 26, 1918 in Detroit, MI; to Albert and Pearl Lennartz.Betty moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 36 years ago from Virginia. She worked as a school teacher. Betty taught wherever the military sent her husband such as Germany and Taiwan, where she taught the granddaughter of Chang Kai Shek.Betty is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Harvey Scott, sons Jeffrey A. Scott and wife Doris of Bangs, TX; Craig O. Scott and wife Leslie of Stafford, VA; nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
