From Wendy, in England, Muriel and Pat's niece:
So sorry to have heard the sad news about 'Uncle Pat' - a lovely man, kind and caring, and with a gentle sense of humour.
I have many fond memories of him, from my childhood and beyond, and Muriel and Pat's visits to England - and from 4 months I spent with them in Lake Havasu City in 1982. Their visits were good times and I loved my stay in Arizona, and the trips we did further afield. Both Muriel (my father's sister) and Pat loved art and were always busy - and were often helping others - I seem to recall Pat also did work restoring computers to be sent to poorer countries. They were very sociable, and often had house guests whom they took on some memorable sightseeing trips - and they often used to mention the visits of their nephews and nieces. I know that Pat is going to be badly missed by so many family and friends, and send my sympathy and very best wishes to you all at this difficult time.
Lots of love and thinking of you, Wendy Boddy (née Brook), Cambridge UK
