Obituary of Charlene JACKSON

Charlene Cheryl Jackson, 58, passed away December 23, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on February 23, 1947 in Huntington Park, CA to Charles Cameron and Grace (Angel) Janson.Charlene moved to Lake Havasu 10 years ago from Lansing, KS. Since moving to Lake Havasu, she worked for the Lake Havasu City Police Department as a records clerk and a detention officer for a total of 10 years. She belonged to the Lions Club and enjoyed golfing, traveling and being with her family.Charlene leaves behind her son, Edward Horner of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Laura Blunt of Liberty, MO, Dena Fortner of Gower, MO, Karen Difabio of Santa Rosa, CA and Dena Trapp of Leavenworth, KS; mother, Grace Janson of Lake Havasu; sisters, Francine Skedsmo of Pittsburg, CA and Janeen Runnells of Bandon, OR and eight grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Richard Jackson.Friends of Charlene's may come by the family home to pay their respects at 2684 Rango Dr., Tuesday, December 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.The family has requested donations go to American Cancer Society of Lake Havasu, PO Box 1410, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
