Obituary of David SMITH

David Abbs Smith, 71, passed away on December 25, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on August 10, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Edward Dexter Smith and Floy A. (Abbs).He was a self employed contractor in Mission Viejo, California for 17 years before moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 4 years ago. He loved traveling, camping and loved people in general. He liked to playfully tease his family and friends and had a nickname for everyone. David was a member of the B.P.O.E. #2399, London Bridgers R.V. Group, Elks Yacht Club and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.David is survived by his loving wife of twenty years Sheila Smith of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sons Donn Smith, Dave Smith, James Smith; daughter Mary Kay Wingate; step-son Rick Clark; step-daughter Lori Montague; sister Marilynn Darling; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.A memorial service will be held on Friday December 30, 2005 at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel at 11:00 AM. with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be given to the Cancer Society of Lake Havasu, P.O.
