Zane Alden Berry, 83, passed away January 5, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on October 17, 1922 in Moreland, OK.Zane and his wife have been winter visitors of Lake Havasu from Montrose, CO. He was a railroad conductor for the Rio Grande Railroad in Denver, CO for 44 years. He was also a proud veteran with the United States Marines during World War II. He also enjoyed being a member of the Eagles and Elks Lodges.Zane is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of almost 60 years, Norma G. Berry; sons, Randy W. Berry of Monument, CO and Zane E. Berry of Parker, CO; daughters, Barbara Thomas of Denver, CO and Kathy Succek of Idaho Falls, ID; one sister, Leona Owens of Moreland, OK; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dillard and Charles Berry.Services were held at the Islander RV Resort, where he and Norma stayed while in Lake Havasu on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 2:00 pmThoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
