William Edward Doyle "Ed" of Golden Valley, Arizona passed away September 14, 2013. Ed was born July 27, 1937 in Deadwood, South Dakota to William Joseph Doyle and Lucille Henrietta Doyle of South Dakota. Ed was raised in the Holy Family Church of White Center, Washington where he attended school through the 8th grade and then graduated from O'Dea High school. Ed wanted to go into the seminary but he ended up enlisting in the United States Navy. Ed's last duty assignment and major command was on the U.S.S. Hornet. His related civilian occupation was an electrical repairman and after serving in the Navy Ed took a job with the Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington where he helped build the 727. Before retiring from Boeing, his job took him to North Dakota and Kansas, among other places. Ed married his sweetheart from Holy Family Church, Arleen Mary Schweitzer, and had six kids. After his divorce and marriage to Louella, he relocated from Redondo Beach, Washington to Laughlin, Nevada. Ed and Lou later moved to Golden Valley, Arizona where they both passed away. Ed was preceded by his first wife, Arleen, his first daughter, Becky, and his second wife, Lou. He is survived by his five children; Joe, Pat, Wendy, Stacy and Steve, as well as by his step daughter Brenda and step son Brice. There will be a military burial at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on May 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM(http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/tahoma.asp).
