Obituary of Mary LAPOINTE

Mary "Babe" K. LaPointe, 92, passed away February 16, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Martin and Sadie (Rohrer) Kunkle on January 29, 1914 in Battlecreek, MI.Babe has been a Havasu pioneer for the past 37 years, moving here from Ann Arbor, MI where she worked as a clerk for the University of Michigan for 5 years. Babe's family wants to send a special thanks to the family of Kenn and Michelle McKinney of Lake Havasu for the loving attention they gave to her, especially in her last days.Babe will be dearly missed by her loving family, sons, Fred and his wife Marcia LaPointe of Westport, WA and Frank LaPointe of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Judith LaPointe of Kalamazoo, MI; sister, Esther Malcomb of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; four step grandchildren; four great grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Elmer LaPointe.Per her wishes, there will be no services held.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
