Obituary of Lovina JACKSON

Lovina Elizabeth Purdy Jackson, 88, passed away February 21, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Elmer and Ann (Hinman) Purdy on August 3, 1917 in Britton, SD.Lovina moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago from Hemet, CA, where she resided for 75 years. She was co-owner of Nelson Machinery and the owner of Bud's Equipment Repair in Hemet, CA. She was a member of Hemet Community Builders, Hemet Cavilcaders and the Jeep Club. Lovina enjoyed making her special Christmas candy around the holidays.Lovina is survived by her loving family, son, Carl (Mendy) Jackson of Lake Havasu; daughter Gwendolyn (Rex) Herring of Kaysville, UT; brother, Dale Claud Purdy of Collinsville, MS; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Erwin, whom she married on September 2, 1937.The family has asked contributions be made in Lovina's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
