Catherine Chlipala, 85, passed away on February 28, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on June 25, 1920 in Chicago, IL.Catherine moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 years ago from Elmwood Park, IL & Chicago, IL. She worked as a cord specialist for Cord Specialties in Franklin Park, IL; for 20 years. Catherine enjoyed crossword puzzles, ethnic cooking, traveling and had a love for pets. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.Catherine is survived by her son Dan Chlipala of River Grove, IL; daughter Joyce Miller and husband James of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jospeh John Chlipala who where married on October 11, 1941.A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
