Obituary of Benita ROMERO

Benita Romero passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 87. She was born on April 3, 1918 in St. Joseph, MO to Louis and Margarita Sid.Benita was raised in Michigan and lived in California for 59 years. She had resided in Lake Havasu City for the past 10 months, moving here from Las Vegas, NV.Benita was a devoted mother and housewife. She was adventurous and loved to travel. Her hobbies were sewing, crafts and cooking. Benita enjoyed family gatherings and her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.Benita is survived by her loving family, son, Robert (Evelyn) Romero of Newport News, VA; daughters, Rachel Case of Lake Havasu and Rose Cote of Torrance, CA; brother Roy (B.J.) Sid of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters, Angela (Norm) Desjardin of West Covina, CA, Juanita (Elisco) Giron of Fountain Valley, CA and Clair (Bill) Eberhart of West Covina, CA; grandchildren, Kevin, Kent, Casey, Glenn, Renee, Roger, Andrew and Kate; great grandchildren, Dustin, Garrett, Nathan, Hannah, Will, Angela, Jennifer, Telfard, Julian and Aiden; great-great grandchildren, Kylie, Elijah and Alijah.She was preceded in death by her husband Refugio and son, Richard.A celebration of Benita's life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006, 4:00 pm at Bethany Church, 763 N. Sunset, West Covina, CA.
