Obituary of Robert William Hasper II

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert W. Hasper, II (Moose), born on January 3, 1945 in Muskegon, MI, passed away on January 16, 2016 peacefully at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ surrounded by his family of over 30 years, after a long illness. He was once a star basketball player for North Muskegon, also a four time letter winner in baseball. Bob retired at 62 from "Allianz of North America" as an independent sales rep. Bob leaves behind the love of his life, Sindy Meidl; her children, Teresa Williams, Michele Rakyta; and her grandchildren, Ryan (who was his Godchild), Brandon and Nicole; his cousins from Muskegon, Darlene Dewald Johnson, Deb Vanderlaan and Scott Jones; his cousin, Richard Dalson of Las Vegas who visited him often at hospital in Las Vegas; his close friends, Judy Rakyta, Pat Jahns, Corby Calkins, Jim Mollring, Jake Williams and Richard Mullally. Thank you for all of your compassion and support. Bob will be missed greatly, especially for his humor, generosity, time teaching lessons, and sharing his faith with the children and family. He was a kind soul. He loved to be outside in the sun, taking road trips, going for walks and most of all fishing, and of course, watching basketball (Phoenix Suns & UCLA), baseball (Arizona Diamondbacks), football (Michigan State and Detroit Lions) and eating pizza, his favorite food. Bob will now be playing on heaven's court where he will be met by his parents, Robert and Maxine Hasper; his sister, Pam Hasper and his good friend, John Rakyta. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
