James Stanley Tritten passed away on August 25, 2015 at 81 years of age in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Fay and Francis Peter Tritten on December 9, 1933 in Des Moines, IA. He was married to Nancy Yvonne Smith on June 11, 1977 in San Diego, CA; they were married for 38 years. James enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and horses. He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the VFW. He was a past member of the Eagles and Elks. James was proud of his 14 years of military service. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, China Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and Navy Good Conduct Medal. James is survived by his wife, Nancy Jones Tritten of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Nancie Wamser (Carl) of Portland, OR, Gayle Bean (Richard) of Twin Falls, IA, Dona Jones (Robert) of Salem, OR, Theresa Sympson (David) of Midland, TX, Debra Renn (Paul) of Portland, OR, Samantha Tritten (Larry) of Fountain, CO; sisters, Linda Barker of Laguna Hills, CA, Betty Jo Larson of Victorville, CA; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his lifelong friends, Manny Trujillio of Lake Havasu, Scott Fisk of Kingman, AZ, Keith Harris of Portland, OR, and beloved pet, Pandy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Francis Peter Tritten; sister, Kathy Tritten, former wife, Patricia Gibbs Potter; niece, Jackie Larson and granddaughter, Jennifer Christianson. Services will be set for a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to donations to Hospice of Havasu or Wounded Warriors.
