Jack King, 74, passed away peacefully in his home with his loving wife at his side on Monday, March 20, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 5, 1931 in New Boston, OH.Jack moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from S. El Monte, CA. He served on the planning commission and was on the city council and vice mayor of S. El Monte, CA. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and was president of the Elks Fishing Club for 5 years. Jack will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for his family and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty King, daughters Pamela Kebble-Levy and husband Bernard of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Debra King a retired police detective of Georgetown, TX; Brenda Michael and husband Rex of Georgetown, TX; sisters, Margaret Hinton, Patty DanVines, Carol Spritz all of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Billy, Dusty and Chelsea of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Steve and Jamie and great grandchildren Flynn and Laurel all of Georgetown, TX.A memorial service will be held at the B.P.O.
