Ray Arnold Kraft, 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on January 24, 1919 in Los Angeles, CA.Ray moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 1 year ago from South Gate, CA. He worked as an insurance salesman for Liberty National in Los Angeles, CA; for 20 years. Prior to working in the insurance industry he worked as a lather in construction. Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Army WWII and received the American Defense Service medal and the WWII Victory medal. Ray was an avid gardener, he love playing Domino's and his family was his life. He was loved and respected and will be missed by everyone who knew him.Ray is survived by his loving wife Betty Jane Kraft, daughters Carol Rae Tanner, Marcia Kay Barringer both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Betty Darlene Murillo of Sunset Beach, CA; sister Alice Davis of Sepulveda, CA; grandchildren David Okley, Sandra Allen (Greg), Damon Barranger (Karen), Darlene Murillo, Jeff Barringer, Debra Amador (David), Richard Ray Murillo, Corporal Robert Tanner (USMC); great grandchildren, Jayden Rae Murillo, Nathan Joseph Amador, and HannahRae Bessie Amador who was brought into our family the day Ray left us and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gertrude (Murburg) Duncan, brother Chuck Duncan, sisters Lillian True and Florbell Bury.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, April 1, 2006 at 10:00 am with Pastor John Sweeney officiating.Donations can be made in Ray's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN; 38105-1942Condolences and thoughts may be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
