Obituary of Josephine FIELD

Josephine C. Field passed, 88, away on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Prestige Assisted Living on Smoketree Ave; Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on November 27, 1917 in Van Hook, ND.Josephine is survived by her sons Gary Field and wife Beth of Shasta, CA; daughter Barb and husband Tom DeLuca of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Mark Field of Prescott, AZ; John L. Field of San Diego, CA; brother Milo Larson of Portland, OR; sister Dorie Olmstead of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren Bryan Forward, Pamme Stanberry, Todd Field, Jennipher Field, Mike Field, Marshall Field, Matthew Field; great grandchildren Robert, Charlotte and Carter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years; Dr. Hod C. Field, who passed away on July 27, 2000, also at Prestige Assisted Living. He was 86 years old.I loved my mother, not as a prisoner of Alzheimer's, but as a person. All I could do was hold her when she was afraid and I loved her enough to accept her as she was, as she was still very much a part of our family.
