Victor Hugo Meliza, 85, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2006 in Lake Havasu City,AZ. He was born on May 17, 1920 in Peoria, IL. Victor moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 34 years ago from Peoria, IL. He worked as a printer for Walter's Publications here in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 30 years. Victor proudly served his country in the U.S. Army WWII and was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He enjoyed camping, beginning in tents and moving up to motorhome camping. He also enjoyed talking on his C.B. radio. Victor is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Peggy, son Kenneth Meliza of Makanda, IL; grandchildren Ken and Pamela and great grandchildren Kenny, Laura and Aubrey. He was preceded in death by his son Jon, who passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ.A memorial service will be held at the V.F.W. Post #9401 on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 5:00 p.m.Condolences and thoughts may be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
