Banita Riley Papcun
Banita Riley Papcun, 54, of Kingman, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday evening, Sept. 17, 2013, after struggling with an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 2, 1959, to N.B. "Bill" and Mabel Riley, and grew up in Lithia Springs, Ga. Banita graduated from Lithia Springs High School and she and her husband, Todd Papcun, were married in 1999.
Banita loved adventure and she loved life! After she and Todd were married, she earned her Commercial Drivers License and joined him in his occupation as a truck driver and they explored the country together. This is how she developed her love for the West, and she and Todd decided to make their home in Kingman. They loved to spend their time together fishing on their boat, riding their four-wheelers, and loving on their dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Todd; her four children, Derrick Moss of Buckeye, Ariz., Denise (David) Crowe of Douglasville, Ga., Dyanna (Michael) Sells of Sedona, Ariz., and Sean Papcun of Stockbridge, Ga. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Dallas and Charley Moss, and Noah and Silas Crowe; and her sisters, Billie Fleming and Brenda Frost, both of Douglasville, Ga.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Mountain View Cemetery. To all who knew her, please come join us to remember the wonderful woman that she was. Lietz-Fraze Funeral home is handling the arrangements
