Chad Hatch having faithfully served his mission here on earth, quietly passed away onMay 23, 2006, just 8 days short of his 82nd birthday.Chad was born in Taylor, Arizona, on May 31, 1924. He was the 5th of 11 children born to George P. and Dora Palmer Hatch. He is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.While serving his country in the U.S. Navy, he was stationed in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he met and married his sweetheart and eternal companion, Elsie Amaral, daughter of Albert and Deolinda Amaral, of New Bedford, Massachusetts. They have been together for 62 years, and were blessed with 6 children, 1 preceding him in death (Edward Albert). They're surviving children are Brad Hatch (Kim) of Archer, Florida, Alan Hatch (Dawn) of Phoenix, Arizona, Dawn Hatch Farley (Ken) of South Fork, Colorado, Gary Hatch (Steph) of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and Debra Hatch Snow (Lawrence) of Lehi, Utah. He was a kind and righteous father, well loved and respected by his children. He will be greatly missed by them, and his 18 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. (With more to come.)He was a barber in Parker, Arizona for many years, where he was affectionately known to many as "Old Man Hatch". After retiring, he and Elsie moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.He served faithfully and well in the many positions and callings that he received through his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved and served the Lord throughout all his days on this earth.We love you and miss you. "Til we meet again." Your loving family.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 6 - 8 p.m. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
