Minnie (nee Domenica Carcich) Kucich, 89, of Lake Havasu City died peacefully to join her beloved husband, Willie and adored son Spec 4th Class Johnny.Minnie was born in Unije, Croatia on November 18, 1916. She was the Daughter of the late Andrea and Domenica Carcich. She came to the United States as a young girl where she resided in Astoria, NY. There she met her future husband, Willie, married and raised her 3 children. When visiting Lake Havasu City in 1975, it reminded her of her birth place so she and her husband decided to retire here.Throughout the years, Minnie enjoyed family gatherings, watching her young granddaughters grow into womanhood. She cherished the time she spent with her great grandchildren and she touched the hearts of those who knew her with her beauty, honesty, kindness and especially her unconditional love. During these past few years, her courage, strength and dignity have inspired her family and friends to enjoy the many blessings life has to offer.As an active member of the Catholic Daughters of Our Lady of the Lake Church in earlier years, she participated in their many activities and trips including the Pope's visit to Phoenix, AZ.Minnie is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Brownlee of Brookfield, CT; a son, William and his wife Georgette of Lake Havasu City; her 5 loving granddaughters, Cara Kucich, Jennifer Kucich, Bonnie Brownlee (Christopher) Jones, Christine Brownlee and Corinne Brownlee and 2 adored great grandchildren, Mariah Kucich and Chance Kucich. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all.In addition to her parents, sister and 5 brothers, she was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1991 and her son John Andrew in 1969.Friends can call on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2006, 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church.
