John Howard Nicklas, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on June 7, 1941 in Culver City, CA. John moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 10 years ago from Riverside, CA. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. John worked for Atlas Forging Die as a die sinker in Santa Fe Springs, CA; for 30 years. He was a member of American Legion and B.P.O.E. Lodge #2399. His hobbies were restoring his "Henry J" street rod, fabricating custom radio flyer wagons, speedway motorcycle racing and drag racing.John is survived by his loving wife Paula Nicklas, sons John Nicklas Jr., Kevin Nicklas both of Riverside, CA; Mark Nicklas of Ontario, CA; and 2 grandchildren.He will be missed and loved by everyone who knew him.Private services were held.
