Obituary of Garrett CARR

Garrett M. "Gary" Carr, 48, former Lake Havasu resident, passed away in his home in Quemado, N.M. on June 12, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 19, 1958 to James and Eileen Carr in Manchester, N.H.Gary proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and retired 3 years ago as a Chief Petty Officer. Upon retirement he wanted to pursue his dream of building a log cabin, sadly he will not see to its completion. His memory will live with his family and friends forever. Gary was a very generous person and he could always make us laugh.Gary is survived by his wife Kim; stepdaughters, Tracey Perry and Samantha Hainline; mother, Eileen Carr; sister, Coleen Mendes and Bridget Perry; brother, Gregory Carr; nephews, Joshua and Zachary Clifton; nieces, Samantha and Danielle Perry and numerous other Family members and Friends.He was preceded in death by his father, James Carr and his brother, Bradley Carr.Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 12:00 noon.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
