Gerry Scott LovellGerry Scott Lovell, 52, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Norwood, MA. He is the son of Joel Amos and Ruth Lynn "Holder" Lovell.Gerry moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 37 years ago from Westwood, MA, where he lived with his wife Joyce and daughters Erin and Kylee. He worked as a Park Ranger for the Arizona State Parks in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 17 years. He served in the Armed Forces as a Marine for four years during the Vietnam War.Gerry is survived by the love of his life of 22 years wife, Joyce E. Lovell, son Scott Lovell of Reno, NV; daughters Erin Lovell of Scottsdale, AZ; Kylee Lovell of Huntington Beach, CA; Wendy Lovell of Reno, NV; brothers Ronald Lovell of Summerville, SC; Jody Lovell of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Ken Lovell of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters Sheree (Lovell) Wooster of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Monica (Lovell)Vanhine of Decatur, TN; Linda Lovell; grandchildren Kyle, Haylee and ScotieAnne; and best buddy Romeo.A Rosary/Scripture service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Patrick Toilolo officiating. Military honors by the Lake Havasu Marine Corps League.Gerry was a lover of nature and had a heart of gold. He will be missed dearly and his life will be celebrated. His memory will live on with his family whom he loved more than anything in the world. When walking the hiking trails of Windsor Beach, remember this man as a father, husband and friend to all that crossed his path.
