Obituary of Joe KROPP

Joe Leonard Kropp Jr., passed away on June 30, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ; of congestive heart failure. He was born on June 26, 1940 in Powell, WY; and moved with his family to the Spokane Valley when he was 2 years old. Joe graduated from Otis Orchards High School in 1958 and attended Eastern Washington College of Education for 2 ½ years, before moving to the Los Angeles area in 1962. He owned and operated J.L. Kropp Trucking, Inc. in Southern California for almost 30 years, before retiring at the age of 48, when he moved back to the Spokane, WA; area.Joe is survived by his daughters, Karen Landis, Kathy & Steve Blacker, Kristina Kropp and Robin Kropp all of Orange County, CA; brother George B. Kropp and his wife Milly of Otis Orchards, WA; grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Nicole, Kelsey, Kody, Samantha and Raven; 5 nieces, 2 nephews and by his very special friend Carol Taylor of Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Alberta Kropp of Otis Orchards, WA; and a sister Mrs. Joanne Russell of Hauser Lake, ID.Joe will be cremated and his ashes spread upon the winds to drift aimlessly for about 6 months and 2 days.There will be a gathering to celebrate Joe's life on July 12, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at the Tri-Community Grange in Newman Lake.In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Heart Association, 140 S.
