Obituary of Edna BERG

Edna M. Berg, 81, passed away July 5, 2006 in Lake Havasu City. She was the loving daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Dowty) Niess, born on October 22, 1924 in Chicago, IL.Edna moved to Lake Havasu 14 years ago from Mt. Prospect, IL. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and St. Zachary Church in Des Plaines, IL. Edna always put the well-being of other, whether family or friends, before herself.Edna was the dearly beloved mother of Fred (Joanne) Berg, Sandra Berg and Catherine Johnson; caring and deeply beloved sister of Frances Vancil, Dorothy (Donald) Gilbert, and Jane Madsen; cherished grandmother to Kyle (Dorinda) Berg, Colleen (Mike) Smith, Richard Johnson and Michael Berg; great grandmother of Mike, Cody, Tori, Robby, Katelyn, Jessica and Alexandria. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, dear friends and very special neighbors.She was the devoted wife of the Late Fred W. Berg. She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Niess and granddaughter, Julie JohnsonA memorial mass will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006, 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Father Mike Ashibuogwu will officiate.
