Glenda Joy Robbins, 72, passed away July 7, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ, after a brief illness from cancer. She was born on September 4, 1933 in the small town of Caddo, OK to Montie and Jewel Hall. When Glenda was about seven years old, she and her family moved west to California and worked in the farm belt of the San Jaquin Valley, then south to the Imperial Valley where she attended school and met and married her high school sweetheart, Carl Ray Robbins. They made the Los Angeles/Orange County area their home where they raised their three children. In 1990 they retired to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Glenda loved doing crafts such as sewing, crocheting and knitting and made many gifts for family and friends. She was the source for family history - "ask Glenda, she'll know". Her kind, generous and loving nature will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her Husband of 56 years, Carl; Daughters, Karen Jo Matheson of Joplin, MO and Deborah Lynn (Richard) Bunde of Camarillo, CA; Brother, Nuel Hall of Holtville, CA; Grandchildren, Aaron (DeeAnn), Dean (Amanda) of Joplin, MO, Eric of Boise, ID, Gary and Shauna of Orange County, CA, Tanya, Shannon and Joshua of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Great Grandchildren, Meghan Marie, Alicia Jo Lynn, Joshua David, Kortne Shree, Kaitlyn Rose and Marissa Marie; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray. Glenda's husband and daughters wish to thank family, friends and neighbors for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glenda's name to the American Cancer Society.
