James Paul James Sr., 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 26, 1932 in Detroit, MI. Jim moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 21 years ago from Pacoima, CA. He worked as a land surveyor for 20 years and was employed by Lind & Hillerud in San Marino, CA. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Navy - Seabees, Korea. He had a lifetime interest in working on engines, rebuilding and restoring old cars. Following retirement, Jim came to enjoy the outdoors, boating on the lake and exploring the desert on his 3 wheeler. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Ethna James, sons Jim James Jr., David James, Brian James, sister, Irene James and 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Cynthia and Christopher.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Ed Wyatt will be the officiating.In lieu of flowers, his family request that donations be made in his name to the building fund for the First Southern Baptist Church, 113 N.
