Dorothy McCreary, 71, passed away at her home on July 19, 2006 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on April 26, 1935 in Thorn Hill, TN.Dorothy moved to Globe, AZ; 43 years ago from Morristown, TN. She and her husband Dave owned and operated Dave's Discount Building Materials in Globe, AZ. They then moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; where they lived for 24 years. Dorothy moved to Colorado in the year 2000 and then onto Texas. She was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star. Dorothy is survived by her son Duane McCreary of New Braunfels, TX; daughters, Patti Lane and husband Carl of San Antonio, TX; Pam Farmer and husband Ron of Greeley, CO; brother Clyde Hipshire and wife Carol of Bean Station, TN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dave McCrearyFuneral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, AZ; beside her beloved husband.
