Obituary of Ruth ENGEN

Ruth Marjorie Engen, 93, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Harry and Evelyn Leiser on May 13, 1913 in Spokane, WA.Ruth lived most of her life in Glendale, CA. She graduated from Glendale High School, where she met her husband Otto Engen and were married 49 years. They had one son, Norman Russell Engen. Ruth worked as a secretary for Sharp Manufacturing in Los Angeles, CA; for 15 years. When they retired, they moved to Costa Mesa, CA. Her husband Otto passed away in 1987. When Ruth moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; she purchased her own home. She enjoyed playing the organ after her retirement and loved watching the Arizona Diamond Backs, with Craig Council being her favorite player She also enjoyed the sunsets.Ruth is survived by her son Norman R. Engen and wife Pat of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren Judy Moravitz and husband Gary, Mark Engen and wife Cheryl, and great grandchildren Erik, Scott, Matthew, Jeff, Mike and Lisa.
