Obituary of James EASTERLY

James LeVan Easterly, 85, passed away July 28, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Philip and Nellie (Clamp) Easterly on June 26, 1921 in Ouray, CO.James married his best friend Louise Allen on September 30, 1942 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 14 years ago from Taylorsville, UT. He proudly served his country under the direction of the United State Navy Reserve during World War II. James worked for the Department of Agriculture for 20 years as an Animal Disease Control Agent. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Gunnison County Colorado Pioneer and Historical Society.James is survived by his loving family, sons, Robert Easterly of Littleton, CO and Richard Easterly of Coeur D'Alene, ID; daughter, Virginia Raybould of Butler, PA; sister, Helen Winslow of Gunnison, CO; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Louise, who passed away July 22, 2001.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
