Obituary of Lillian STAUGAARD

Lillian Beatrice Staugaard, 86, passed away August 1, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Ira and Hazel (Polmateer) Harter on May 17, 1920 in Waukegan, IL.Lillian moved to Lake Havasu 36 years ago from Grayslake, IL. She was a teacher for 25 years, 10 years teaching at the Lake Havasu School District. Lillian was a member of Praise Fellowship, ADK Educational Sorority and the Gem and Mineral Society. She enjoyed quilting and stained glass.Lillian is survived by her loving family, sons, Glen Staugaard of Lake Havasu and Bruce Staugaard of Ocean View, HI; daughter, Joyce Cross of Fox Lake, IL; three grandchildren, Donnie Staugaard, Tracy Cross and Valarie Tagavilla; three great grandchildren, Jaymie, Kaycie and Moani Tagavilla.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Walter Staugaard.Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2006, 7:00 PM at Desert Oasis Community Church (formerly known as Praise Fellowship Church).
